and this is more than likely what is the issue you are having, one is NOT done yet with 1.6.x 1.6.x renamed a lot of the default module positions, SO, you have to set your ART template as the default, THEN go to Module Manager and:ġ) set the Main Menu to the User3 position (which will now show up in the position list)Ģ) set the rest of your modules to their respective ART position names (which are now in the list), e.g., left, right, banner 1, 2,3 etc. So fired up the above-noted 3.x version for Windows, exported the default as a Joomla ZIP, installed successfully, set as "default" and yep, there it was Opened up the above 2.4 version, exported the default as a Joomla ZIP, installed (successfully), set as "default" in Template Manager, displays, but "broken with errors". Used the latest 1.6.3 version running locally on Win 7 with XAMPP. I must admit that I am not up on 1,6,x that well, but I did do a local installation last night after reading your post, just to experiment. However, I am NOT using the current releases of the Windows versions this is what I am using:Ģ.6 Standard Edition and 3.0 Standard Edition That said, I have also noticed on this forum and the ART forum about the art- prefixes, but I have never had to do that on any of my ART templates/themes for either Joomla!, WordPress or Drupal. btw, I run both 2.4.x and 3.0.x in Windows and 3.x on the Mac. What about the art-nav or art-menu styles - they have no effect when I assign them to the footer menu module.- Artisteer 2.x DOES work with Joomla, but the 1.5.x versions I have been using it successfully since it came out! Love it! Would NOT be without Artisteer (ART) in one version or the other. These 3 modul suffixes (art-article, art-block or art-nostyle) have nothing to to with the menu module styling of the header navigation which is built in the template. In checked this source: But the question is still: How can I get the same menu style in copyright or banner6 position like in header ? It must be possible to have a footer menu.but how to do that ? Some Artisteer documentation about main menu is here: BTW Joomla get most of the styling info from template.css user3 ? When I assign a menu in another position than in user3 the menu is looking not the same like in pos. I can not find out where the information of position user3 (=Top Menu) is coming from ? Where the hell is the CSS information that the template knows, that a the menu has to be that style if published in Pos. Suggestions for wordpress? thank you!įollowing code in your header.php generates top navigation menu in Artisteer generated Wordpress themes, you should copy this code and paste it in your footer.php and align it properly in order to display navigation in footer Don't understand the previous responses and not using JOOMLA. I would like to do the same thing - put Menu at bottom, above footer. Styling rules starting with class ".art-menu" controls the display the navigation menu. Where can i find the css codes for the top menu in template.css ? Can i copy that css code and assign it to the footer menu ? Header and footer menu should have the same style. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.įirstly create a new module position: Then copy your top menu code into that new position and edit CSS as needed I tried to copy the menu module, and place it in the "bottom" but it makes it looks like a normal block. I would like to use the same exact menu, but put it right above my footer. I love how artisteer creates the menu in the program that displays by the header.
